We’ve loved Pourville since we were children. Since 2019, we’ve been sharing our house by the sea with you.
“This is the place.”
We’ve loved Pourville since childhood. When we went looking for our house, we knew what we wanted: a sea view, peace and quiet, unspoilt nature, and a town a few minutes away for the cinema and the shopping. That town would be Dieppe.
We also needed a village that’s alive all year round, with its own shops, and a beach we could walk to with the children without worrying about traffic.
“I sat down in the garden, before I’d even seen inside the house, and I thought: this is the place. We have to have it.”
That was after a year of searching. We bought the house in December 2019, and the magic still works every time we come back.

A family and two beach-mad boys
Mélanie is a customer adviser and Olivier runs an advertising agency. Our two boys are funny, full of life and mad about sport, football above all.
For them, the sea has no season: they swim from March onwards, sometimes fully dressed. Yours will find a trampoline, a football goal and boards for the beach in the garden.
Travels, memories, and a house you come back to
We love travelling, in France and abroad. We fell in love with Bali, and Italy remains Olivier’s favourite country, for its musical language and its way of life.
From every trip we bring back little souvenirs, shells and things picked up here and there, which have found their place in the villa.
Le Carré is also where we love to get together with family and friends. We have a great time, there are smiles all round, and it’s always hard to leave.

Check-in is self-service from 3 pm, so you can settle in at your own pace. We’re on hand throughout your stay.
